Vote or vote not?

Does abstention apply to a deliberate and meaningful civic act or n’ is it simply a disengagement on the part of voters, disinterested and disappointed with the behavior of our policies?

Two sociologists, Thomas Amadieu and Nicolas Framont, asked themselves the question in an article in Le Monde, entitled: “Citizens have good reasons not to vote“. They concluded that not voting would make sense and would be a voluntary act on the part of voters.…

Now a very wise archaeologist, Jean-Luc de Floirac, having heard of this opinion, tells us about this remark:

“The solution for those who think that voting is a way of expressing their freedom to think, would be to come back to the ostracism vote of the Athenian city : It’s much funnier to vote for the guy you don’t like and you don’t want to see ( by swinging pieces of plates engraved in the figure…) and force him to bar, rather than being forced to vote for the guy we don't like either, but which is the least worst of all, that we know that he is going to stay and in the end we are well entangled!

What our journalists think? And you readers and citizens?
