Urban valley in need of recognition
Small panorama of this town in the Vosges, who today seeks to save his heritage.
For lack of resources (there are indeed the thermal baths, the casino, surviving businesses…) and especially because of its old-fashioned charm in this green Vosges valley, Plombières leaves an impression of a neglected and misunderstood city today for those who travel through it.
The will of the municipality focused, as well as that of his 1800 inhabitants, on green tourism (Terraced Gardens, Miniature Park), cultural events and the Christmas market, which is growing every year.
The city has, among others, the ambition to become “The Other City of Antiquities and Crafts”, will that be enough?
