Women's Rights Day

The 8 mars, beautiful day to celebrate rights: those of the woman. What does this day actually mean?

Lydia is a woman in her forties, separated and mother. She insisted on testifying on Itinerrances Reports on the occasion of Women's Rights Day.

Testimonies and reflections of a woman

J’ai vu un reportage sur une loi que l’Arkansas a failli voter: this law would have forced pregnant women, who did not want to babysit, to ask for authorization to the man to have an abortion. Fortunately outcry, law… aborted!

I would like to alert public opinion to the fact that the time when the mari, the father, brother gave woman permission to go out, To drive, to patronize… is not that far back in time; we must remain vigilant(...)s.

Our parents (sixty years ago) have known this state of mind; let's keep coming back…

I don't want my child, children (girls and boys), fall in the same panel.

This day is symbolic: every woman must realize that her fight is important and that nothing should be missed.

Paradox

We believe that our rights as a woman are acquired, but I noticed a certain step back when talking about the hostesses, at the auto show for example: they must wear long skirts, hide their body. On nous dit: puisque vous ne voulez pas être considérée comme despotiches”, we will replace you with men! More, the problem is not solved! Why not let these car-loving women continue their careers, letting them choose how to present themselves?

We move the problem: instead of finding real training, or find a real solution, we exchange them with a man even if they like the job.

I don't feel like the lessons of the past have made much progress: in fact, all that women have had to endure (the obligation both regarding the way of dressing, freedom of speech, his desires to go out, his right to dispose of his body, his choices in general) still pending.

The abortion in question and in particular

One show showed that in Germany, where abortion is allowed, there were not enough doctors to practice voluntary termination of pregnancy. These conscientious objectors should be supportive rather than moralizing for these women who opt for the termination of pregnancy solution.. They don't go there already., have made a decision that their father certainly and in addition, doctors are adding weight to their shoulders, by making them feel guilty.

Same for religion

I'm totally catho; but my religion doesn’t have the right to interfere with a woman’s decision, Catholics have a lot of progress to make.

An Inside, il y a trois hommes pour une femme et ils sont en réel manque dematrices”. When will the harem of men to compensate? (laughs) And what? We can repudiate them as we see fit? Non, we should not act to the opposite excess and especially not reproduce what men did to women, worldwide. Because it’s a universal fact: Patriarchy is general and has always been… since the dawn of time (except in very rare cases, anthropologists know it).

The power of Man… reinforced by their mother!

We must continue the fight to be sure that humans can go hand in hand and not one against the other; without inferiority or superiority, we have to find a right complementarity, suitable for everyone.

My step mother, when we were invited to her house, insisted that my ex-boyfriend (who did the same job as me), to keep him seated… But he was doing the week no less, he also had to help and stand up. I had about 30 years, I was already fighting, I am still fighting for my daughter.

Il faut poursuivre ce combat pour avancer et faire avancer the situation for our children, for our girls and and for our boys!

THANK YOU to those who pursue this course of action

That we finally find ourselves on the same consensus, without gender struggle. Today, on ne doit pas mettre le modeVeille”, women's rights are far from being acquired!

Merci à ceux qui luttent et surtout réveillez ceux qui croient qu’il n’y a rien à faire de plus ou que la lutte est gagnée.
