Schools backtracked.
Parents find their children exhausted from Wednesday evening.
Many municipalities cannot or do not want to put the means necessary for the implementation of extracurricular activities.

Many schools want to increase the day break. Absurd, this is the most "accident-prone" period. Furthermore, if it is very cold in winter or very hot in spring, children are outside in many schools because there is no large enough yard.
Finally, in many cases the day at school is reduced by only 1 / 4hour or by 1 / 2hour.
Four day week
Living in the Bordeaux region, what I still don't understand, is that our region was a test zone, at the same time as the Paris region, for more than ten years, for the start of the week in 4 days. I have not heard any particularly negative feedback ... In this logic, the National Education even decided to generalize the implementation of the four-day week throughout France in 2008, with the implementation of tutoring (in my opinion very interesting and which because of the new reform will disappear or be greatly reduced).
Four years later (the reform being in the pipes since 2012, see before), let's go back… What's the point of doing test zones for more than 10 years!?
I am a mother who is not yet undergoing reform, but who is worried about next year.
