« The Osteopithecus », roman de Bernard Cazaubon, at the Salted Wind Editions, released in June 2013.

The story takes place in Bordeaux and on the Arcachon Basin. It's more than a detective story : it’s a book that opens the reader to many different environments: Bordeaux high society, the judiciary and its workings (the author was a great criminal lawyer) and “the fauna of the Arcachon basin” (Bernard is also an oyster farmer in the oyster district of the village of L & rsquo ;herbe, municipality of Lège Cap-Ferret).

Nothing but with its puns, his many winks and half-word allusions, Bernard Cazaubon takes us into a little-known environment and he introduces us to customs that we only suspect exist through certain films.

And justly, Bernajuzan l & rsquo; accused, his lawyer Jean-Baptiste Cazanova, Advocate General Jalabert and all others… will soon be directed by director Pascal Thomas (among others The Amateur in 99, My little finger said to me… in 2005, Crime is our business in 2010 and the latest Crime Partners in August 2012).

Panting in the plot containing vitriolic portraits, this book is written with a sharp style, fast but sensual. The murderer(...) known(...) at the end of the book we will have discovered several worlds ...

Interview with Bernard Cazaubon to come.
