“It is a very well written book. This is not at all an erotic book, but a story book, written with a lot of humor and which teaches the reader a lot. Patrick Caujolle set out to relate a few selected stories from History: The story of Dr. Voronoff, the monkey testicle transplanter, the history of congressional procedure (make love in front of witnesses to prove the consummation of marriage). These are just as many fun anecdotes, but also historic. The story of Victor Hugo in a sexual obsession or the idyllic brothel of Restif de la Bretonne designed in the shape of a phallus… all have a great time…

It's total, fifty stories from all eras, which allow to know the “hidden buttock” of our history. If Patrick Caujolle enjoyed bringing them together in this book “France Polissonne”, the reader is just as happy to discover them.”
