Great first in Bordeaux: the mythical group British Depeche Mode performs in Bordeaux, in the hall of the Arena. Second event, that goes with this concert, the inauguration of the Arena, who just came out of the ground.

All the places are already reserved and we come from far away for this Wednesday evening 24 January 2018 surrounded by all precautions and secrecy: nobody from the outside could watch or photograph the interior of the building.

The room would have been ready for several weeks, but the final touches hold the attention of the designers and above all, tonight, of the organizers of the Depeche Mode show.

Fans from afar

Public side, the day before, we could see people waiting. A tent was even pitched at the gates of the entrance to the new Bordeaux concert hall called the Arena..

Bernard came from Périgueux, by car. He hopes to find a place because he is a fan of the early days. “30 years of career, a concert every four years, I missed the last Depeche Mode concert in Paris. In desperation, I came on a whim, despite the fact that I don't have room… I despair of finding one, but this morning, I took my car and decided to take my day to come and see them, no matter the cost.”

Two English women stand in the queue, wrist numbers, by order of arrival: n ° 27 and n ° 28; one of them lives in the southwest region, but her friend made the trip from London.

“It's fantastic to know that we're going to see Depeche Mode again”. Some have already seen the Depeche Mode group several times and are sure not to be disappointed by Dave, Martin et Andrew.

All the teams having worked around the inauguration of the Arena and around the world tour of this internationally known group that is the Depeche Mode, are boiling: technicians to the highest officials…And we expect beautiful people, the VIP entrance attests to this.
